INKS
Standard inks are compatible, but it is advisable to use inks for matt coated papers or cardboard series which dry quicker and are more resistant to abrasion. Infrared drying can also be used .UV inks are also compatible. Stay fresh ink are reconmmended.
VARNISHES
For extremely glossy printing ,we recommend using a sub-layer or fixing varnish before applying a UV varnish or screen-printing UV. Make sure that the sub-layer and varnish are compatible. Using varnish on 80g to 120g paper weights is not recommended.
OFFSET PRINTING
For top quality printing on texture or embossed papers, increase the blanket pressure and use compressible blankets.
DIGITAL PRINTING
Nwell paper is now available in SRA3 format ,for dry toner digital machines:NexPress,Igen,Canon, etc.
EMBOSSING
Embossing gives good results on Nwell paper .If laser printing is planned subsequently , the embossing must not be too pronounced to allow the paper to move through the machine correctly and to avoid crushing the embossing.
SCREEN PRINTING
All Nwell papers can be screen printed .
HOT MARKING
This process can be used on the entire Nwell range. Make sure that hot marking films are compatible with the paper :
ask your supplier to advise you on the most suitable film for the image to be reproduced .
CREASING AND FOLDING
Prior creasing appropriate for the medium (based on thickness and paper weight) is necessary to achieve good folding results. Make sure that the fore-edge is outside and the dished part inside.
